I was raised in a home that made faith in Christ a priority. I knew Jesus from a young age. From as young as I can remember, I was a member of Community Baptist Church in Rancho Cucamonga. I learned what it meant to follow Christ there, and I followed him throughout my life. From High School on, I knew I was going to be a pastor.
In March 2006, I married Ileana. She made me the luckiest man on the planet. We have three kids together: A four year old named Grace, a three year old named Augustine, and six month old named Zoe. They keep the Linton home active and loud.
Shortly after the wedding, Ileana and I headed off to Dallas Theological Seminary, where I received a Th.M with a concentration in Historical Theology. We moved back from Dallas in May, 2009. We found Christ's Church soon after that and have been extraordinarily blessed to be a part of the family.
I believe that the Gospel has the capacity to completely transform lives and a community through union with the Lord Jesus. As we press into oneness with the God who loves his creation, he remakes us into something brand new. As people united with God, everything we touch gets made new. I am all about helping people walk into greater union with the God who loves them, so that they can bless the world in his name. As we do that together, Yucaipa will be completely different.
