Christ’s Church is an Anglican Church. Anglicanism is the third largest communion of Christians in the world. As Anglicans, we have a strong emphasis on the Scriptures, the Sacraments, and prayer that unites us with a worldwide family. Along with Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox communions, Anglicans believe that the apostles passed on the ministry and authority given to them by Jesus to their successors, the bishops, who continue to lead the Church today. Our bishops can trace this passage of ministry and authority back to the apostles themselves, giving us a tangible, visible, and sacramental connection to the Church that Jesus’ apostles built. We are a local church in the Diocese of Western Anglicans which is shepherded by Bishop Keith in the Province of the Anglican Church of North America under Archbishop Foley Beach.
